Well, the training wheels got taken off this week. This is about the third time trying the other night. I really wish I would have thought of the camera for the first shot because he was so busy yelling "I'm riding on two wheels" that he crashed! He is doing a great job and he is constantly reminding Mommy and Daddy that he gets a new bike and helmet when he gets good enough to ride on the road. He is terribly excited about "bike shopping" with us. Mommy is not so thrilled... three bikes later will make for a very expensive trip to the store. Then we will be off for regular evening bike rides. Cole just can't stop imagining just how much fun that will be!

Doctor Visits
Andy was very good at the doctor's office. He followed directions and answered questions without shedding a tear. He is a small little turd weighing 25 pounds and measuring 33 inches tall. At this age Cole was nearly 4 pounds heavier and a least an inch taller!
"Sweet Cheeks" was anything but sweet at the office. She cried dramatically most of the time we visited. About 2 minutes before it was time to leave, she finally stopped crying and started talking to the doctor like she was her best friend. I think we have one emotional girl on our hands! Heidi weighed in at 24.5 pounds and measured 34.5 inches tall.
These two have been really into coloring lately... you know, wanting to be like Cole. They mostly turn to every page in the coloring book to decorate it over and over again. It occupies them for quite sometime and they actually get along nicely as long as Cole doesn't butt in to help!

ABC Singing
We don't seem to be going anywhere with the potty situation, but they are learning how to sing songs while hanging out on the potty together!
Another Great Party
Heidi enjoyed the party food. Plus, she got the chance to sit across from Uncle Randy... what a deal!
Andy stops to look at the camera. These days he either "cheeses" before you are ready or completely ignores the fact that you are trying to get his picture. I think he might be an official 2 year old. Amazingly, I don't know that I would qualify either one of them as being in their "terrible twos". Instead, it is just how Andy is going to be the rest of his life!
The birthday boy himself. Joshua managed to take more goofy looking shots than good ones. I warned him that they would come back to haunt him someday when he brings a girl around. He really doesn't understand that now, but someday he will. Trust me, Aunt Kim has some really good ones!

Preparing for Party #2
Visiting the Cousins
Last weekend, we visited with our cousins at G-ma & G-pa Meyer's house. We had a good time playing and showing off our many talents these days! Thanks for having us G-ma & G-pa! Our cousin, Jack, serenades us with his musical talent.
Surprisingly, we played pretty good together. We mostly shared nicely except for a few brief arguments over who was playing with which toy first!
Who got the first shot off?
