Weeks are Flying

Sorry, I haven't had a lot of time to post. The end of the school year is fastly approaching which means I am terribly busy trying to stay caught up on everything. Cole started ball practice the Monday after Easter so that is two nights a week (if weather allows) that our nightly plans are disturbed. He is loving it and really looking forward to the games so that Mommy, Heidi, and Andy can come watch. Oh boy! Hope all is good in your lives. Hopefully, I can try to get some pictures taken and posted in about a week. We have another busy weekend approaching us. I figure that life should slow down in July!

New Pictures

We had a party to go to a couple of weeks ago. Mommy is behind on posting - sorry! The kids had a great time playing in the beautiful weather!

Even the "big boys" had a good time hitting each other with bean bags. Who knows if any made it in the corn hole!

Andy investigates while Heidi does her "dance". This is a normal occurance as Andy is always curious about something...aka... getting into something! Heidi does her own thing generally...or follows Cole around like a true shadow!

After the party, we visited with the Seibert Family. Mommy hadn't seen Tessa forever so she got to squeeze her. She gave us millions of smiles. She is just too precious!

Easter Egg Hunt

Heidi picked up eggs with alot of zest. She thought it was great fun!

On the other hand, Andy stood around watching other kids do all the work. I finally got him to pick about 10 up after I told him Sissy was picking up all of his eggs!

Heidi with her loot. Nearly an expert at the age of two.

Just had to share this picture... so cute!

Church Prep

Heidi was looking her best for Mass. She is all new here except for the white sweater. G-ma made the beautiful dress - thanks G-ma! Mommy bought the shoes and tights. Mr. Easter Bunny supplied the matching hair pretty. She doesn't get much prettier than this!

Andy preps for Mass. This is the comb over in progress!

One handsome fellow... too bad Mommy and Cole had to argue about wearing the shirt for church.

What am I thinking" Do you really want to know?

Easter Morning

All the kids hunted for presents from the Easter Bunny... Heidi checks out a goodie bag.

Cole did most of the hunting... Heidi and Andy didn't really seem to care, and he was having a great time! Win-Win Situation in Mommy's book!

Andy found a present... amazing where that Easter Bunny hides things at the Meyer house!

Finished Projects

Here are the finished cookies... Cole helped with many of them. You can see two special ones he made. Mommy and Daddy were both impressed with how well he did with all the work involved in making cutout cookies. Not only do they look pretty good, but they don't taste too bad either!

Cole and Daddy colored eggs at about 9:30 on Saturday night. We had way too much to push into Saturday's 24 hour cycle!

Bucket Shots

There is something about Easter buckets and picture moments in the Meyer house. Andy is looking pretty cheerful!

Heidi practicing her silliness!

The "dynamic trio" of bucket heads! Kinda lost Andy, oops!

Mr. Irish just had to try on Daddy's newest hat!

Big Boys Hunt

Cole was really excited about the Easter Egg Hunts this year. He asked all week "how many more days until we pick up eggs". Mommy was never so glad to see Saturday come.

Cousin Josh grabbed many eggs also. Amazing how different it is watching his age group (1st gr.) from Heidi and Andy's age group (1+2 year olds)

Easter Prep

We decided to work on cookies with the kids. They had a good time cutting cookies out.

Daddy braved this project while Mommy was at Good Friday Services. Everyone did great and he even managed to snap pictures!

We haven't tasted the final project but we will apply frosting tonight. I am sure we will have eager helpers!

Spring Break

We got to spend Spring Break with Mommy this week. We spent alot of time playing and getting into trouble. Just another normal day for us!

Sis was stressed.....so stressed!

Cole finally got a new bike. The boys put it together in the basement one evening. Luckily, they managed on their own... sorry Uncle Kevin, we didn't need your advice.

The finished product with the proud owner. He even took it outside for a spin around the lawn. We made him take his old bike out to practice on two wheels on the road. He made it around the bend and to Grandma & Grandpa's with only a couple of wipe outs!

The Latest News

This week Cole entered his first coloring contest for our local paper. We were very impressed with how well he colored his picture. We don't expect Cole to be the winner, but he did get a bag with some treats in it for participating... that was good enough for Cole!

Daddy had a good time styling hair in the tub one evening.

We were plagued by the 24 hour fever this past week. Heidi and Andy each took a turn with it. We aren't really sure if it was just teeth issues or colds coming or a little bit of both. It is nice to have them semi back to normal. They still want alot of attention and cuddling, but that isn't all bad either!
