Christmas Time

After 3 very intense days of decorating... our house is ready for Christmas. In our living room, stands this thousand dollar tree as JJ refers to it. It is filled with Precious Moments ornaments collected for many years now. Hopefully Santa leaves some presents under it to all good little girls and boys!

Here is the newest addition to the house. We got a tree for the basement this year. We put all the extra ornaments on it. Since we spend alot of time in the basement, we felt justified in buying tree number 5.

Cole stands with his tree! He mostly decorated it on his own. Daddy put on the garland and a few of the high ornaments.

Heidi and Andy stand with their tree. They did not get to help decorate their tree. We just constantly remind Andy not to touch!

We also have a tree in the kitchen/dining room filled with apple, teacher, and snowman decorations. I also have a tree in my classroom. After decorating a half of dozen trees and outside....we are tired and DONE! Let's start the parties!!!

Beauty of Christmas

We went to the Toledo Zoo a couple of weeks ago. The lights were fabulous! It was our first visit for the lights display. The kids loved it and it wasn't even bitter cold yet. This is a tree that has 32,000 lights on it. It only takes a week to decorate it. Geez....

We did get to see the Jolly old guy in the red suit. We didn't stand in line to visit him, but seeing him from afar was good enough. Visiting will be soon enough!

I can't even put words to this....totally hilarious! Heidi in on the left and Andy is on the right!

Cole, what are you doing with that giraffe?

Misc. Pictures

We went and visited our new friend, Henry Gerschutz. Andy was the only one willing to hold him. This picture is really priceless....my baby holding a baby! Henry was a very nice baby that everyone agreed was a "keeper". We are calling him Henry the 2nd. Our friend Henry the 1st, hopefully will get to come visit soon. Come home for Christmas, Henry!

Cole decided to rock Andy to sleep the other night. Mind you, no one was sleeping at all.... more or less.... GIGGLING!

Mommy got to cuddle with Heidi. She insisted that Daddy take our picture since he was focusing in on Cole and Andy too much!

Good Shakes!

The kids have been rewarded with "shakes" lately. They think it is just wonderful to get such a treat. Mommy and Daddy find it great if the bait works in bribing them to be good. It sure worked when we had family pictures taken. Heidi shows her approval!

Cole's shake has to be bigger than his siblings. More, more, more!

Andy is the first to finish. He got right to business and never let up. What a stinker!

A good book with some good company.

Halloween 2009

That is one sweet apple.....and one brave firefighter! Andy won at the firehall costume contest this year. Josh and Cole both wore this costume and it had never won before.... Andy has the charm, I guess!

Snoopy poses with his dog house. Cole was bumbed that he didn't win this year, but everyone complimented him on his costume!

Then the Mummy arrived....silly Cousin Josh!

Snoopy flies to avoid the Red Baron!

Leaves, Leaves, Leaves

We made a huge leaf pile at G-ma & Papa McCool's this weekend. Heidi had fun playing in them!

Then the leaf tossing started...nice toss, Cole!

Heidi takes a try at tossing them in the air!

The pink hat is Heidi buried in the leaf pile!

Misc. Pictures

We have been on the go so much lately that Mommy hasn't had time to unload the camera. Here are a few pictures of what has been happening, and why we are never home! This picture was taken a month ago when we visited Sauder Village with the Seibert's. Cole was there too, but some how he missed the photo opportunity!

A couple of weeks ago, we visited JJ's parents at the camp ground. The Seibert's visited at the same time so the kids ran and played together all afternoon. "Uncle JJ" was taking pictures of himself and Tessa. She is growing and really changing....but ever so cute!

Andy spent a majority of his time at the campground near a puppy. He just thought sitting with the puppy was the best. The poor dog couldn't even get a nap with him around!

Cousin Samantha and Jesse were there too so we went to the playground to play. Samantha thought the slides were fun even when Aunt Holly slide her down a bit too fast!
