First Day of School

Wow - Today was Cole's first day of First Grade! It also was his first day as a St. Mary's tiger. He was very excited to finally be able to go to the same school as Mommy and Cousin Josh.

My Andrew Joseph

Andy is quite the guy....ornery, funny, and very determined. He loves riding his big boy bike. He has made it across town several times. He pedals his little heart out!

Doesn't he look just like his monkey? Check out that smile....plain old goofy!

Baby Gabriella

Aunt Holly & Uncle Jake welcomed baby Gabriella into the world on July 31st. We made it to the hospital to visit and squeeze on her.

This is Heidi's first time at holding a baby. She was fascinated with holding her.

Andy wanted his turn too. That is my baby holding a baby....makes Mommy sad.

Silly Kids!

What silly kids....

Cole occasionally gets a chance to read to the twins. They even cooperate while me sounds out the words.

Train Ride

Papa took the boys on a train ride a few weeks ago. Everyone had a good time and the boys talked about the train ride for several days afterwards. The train went from Edon to Hamilton and back to Edon. It lasted about 1 1/2 hours on a Friday evening. Thanks Papa for taking us on a ride!

Daddy went too and encouraged the boys to take several pictures with their heads hanging out of the moving train. Good thing Mommy wasn't around! It was a hot August night though so the fresh country air probably felt pretty good. The girls went to Fort Wayne and had a shopping trip. Heidi was all about hanging with the girls for an evening!

This is a pretty cool picture... nothing like riding a train!

Tessa's Birthday Bash

In early August, we celebrated sweet Tessa's birthday. She is now 2 years old and so terribly cute. She really liked us singing to her. Check out that eye squint!

Then she dug in....yummy! Notice, she has absolutely no bib on and a brand new white shirt. Her parents are brave. My kids wear bibs until they enter Kindergarten.

I think she belongs in California... she definitely has the look!
