Spring Break

During Spring Break, we spent a couple of nights at a lodge in Hocking Hills with Daddy's family. Then we moved our vacation into Columbus with the kids. The kids had a great time in Columbus, and we kept them very busy. We took them to this arcade which they played different games for tickets. They loved it! They all ended up getting a prize before we left.....well worth $20!

They all shot at the hoop....even Andy!

Heidi was all about it! She would jump up and down when she would make a shot....so girlie!

We had a nice pool to play in too. The first night we all got in, but the second night, Andy refused so Mommy and Andy watched. We had the pool to ourselves both nights so we could splash and play as loudly as we wanted!

Cole liked that he could touch. He still wanted to wear the inner tube though. I see swimming lessons in that boy's future. He has got to learn to get his face wet!

They were pretty exhausted at night...

We also took the kid's to a fabulous ice cream place. It had a playroom that they enjoyed and delicious ice cream made right in front of your eyes! There was nothing left in the bowls!

After eating all that ice cream, Andy snuggled up for the long ride home!

Columbus Zoo

Cole checks out the big tortoise...you lookin' at me?

Columbus has several manatees to watch. They were soooo cool!

They were eating heads of romaine lettuce which the kids just cracked up about!

They had more animal statues than any zoo we have ever visited... we stop at every single one to take pictures!

Heidi tries to blend in amongst the penguins!

Can we be friends?

I think that might be Tarzan as a child!

Who needs horses when you can ride some worthogs?

The elephant display was really nice too. This "little guy" was so cute!

I got em'!

This zoo was very nice but we still are loving our Toledo Zoo. We had to walk forever to see all the animals, and we gave up before we visited every one. We got too cold, too tired, and too hungry!

Lodge Pictures

Here are all the kids...Andy, Samantha, Jack, Heidi, Cole, Jesse, & Gabby. Maria is up there too, but she got a bit upset when her Daddy tried to put her head in the picture!

Check out this girl!

It was an exhausting vacation for Mommy and Daddy but surely not for these three!

Lodge Get Away

To start our Spring Break, we met up with Daddy's family to stay at a lodge in Hocking Hills for two nights. We slept in the basement of the lodge and there was this pool table that Cole immediately clung too. He feels he has a future in pool playing....Uncle Randy, he needs some pointers!

Cole and Daddy went on a hike with everyone else. Mommy stayed back at the cabin with Heidi and Andy who both had coughs and colds. It was a chilly vacation....brrr. Doesn't anyone know that it is Spring according to the calendar?

Cole was very impressed by the landscape around him. Surely not what northwest Ohio is like!

Squeeze...

Aunt Holly and Cole stop a moment to take a picture!

Just enough clearance!

Maria Bridget Bockey

Our newest niece, Maria Bridget Bockey, was born in early February. We were all sick with coughs and colds when she was born so it took us forever to get to meet her! She is such a sweetie!

Mom, I look ridiculous! Get use to it, girl!

Cousin Luke's 6 Birthday

We went to Findlay in early March to celebrate Luke's birthday. Daddy made him a special Mario cake for the occasion.

Here are all the crazy kids....cousin Josh, Cole, Cousin Luke, Heidi, and Andy.

Heidi and Andy watched Luke open his gifts before going after all the new toys.

Luke got these awesome swords...Mommy is glad these are at Uncle Joe's house! On Guard....Heidi wouldn't back down to Cole until he stabbed her!

Andy decided that boxing was more his thing....watch out! He would start giggling so hard he couldn't even get a jab in to Uncle Joe. Thanks for having us, Luke!

My Children

At school, we had a Walt Disney theme week. Monday Cole was to dress like Mickey Mouse. Mommy and Daddy really got into designing his costume!

Tuesday, he had to dress as his favorite Disney character. Here is his "Slink the Dog" costume from Toy Story.

Cole made this sign for us to put in our window when we went to watch the Bulldogs at the District Tournament Games. He was really into the whole tournament experience...especially when we played at Napoleon's "loud gym"!

Oh yes, then their are Heidi and Andy who were bumbed because they didn't get to dress funny to go to G-ma's house. Check out that attitude! Here they are playing the computer together...this is at the moment before the fight begins - "Heidi is not listening to me!" and "Andy is touching my puter!"

More Snow Pictures

Gee, is this really safe?

We went and made snow creations at G-ma's house one day after sledding. Heidi and Andy teamed up with Daddy while Cole designed his own.

Heidi and Andy's finished project...a snow angel with a bulldog hat?

Cole's snowman with some wild hair...he looks grumpy!

Feb. Cookies

As Valentine's Day rolled near, we made some heart shaped cookies. Since we are getting the hang of making cookies with 3 children, we are starting to purchase different shapes for the many holidays. The kids are really good about taking turns. Plus, Mommy is starting to refuse to buy cookies in the store....too expensive!

Cole always poses goofy for pictures... all these faces will come back to haunt him someday!

Yep - frosting time. They get to each frost so many until Mommy and Daddy take over.

There frosting abilities have improved. You just have to keep Andy from licking the knife, his fingers, the cookie, etc.

Cole gets to help a little more that Heidi and Andy. Might as well put him to work or he will drive you crazy with questions about when you will be done!

Bulldog Basketball

We spent alot of time attending basketball games this past season. We really enjoyed watching our high school boys basketball team make it to regionals at Bowling Green. We also had busy Saturday mornings watching Cousin Josh play basketball in a 2nd and 3rd grade league. Yep, you got it, Cole will be playing next year and Daddy and Mommy have graciously volunteered to head up the program. What were we thinking? Next year, Cousin Josh will be playing on the St. Mary's Tigers 4th grade team so that means more games during the week to attend too. Maybe Heidi and Andy will decide that sports aren't necessary in their lives....I know, I don't have a fighting chance with that one!

Josh really improved alot this year. He scored alot and really impressed Cole. He has been bugging for the weather to get nice so he can shoot some hoops!

It's going in! Great Job, Josh!
