Cousins Visit

Cousin Jesse came last weekend to visit and play. He loved all the new toys at our house! He is taking a little ride in the sand mobile!

Coosin Samantha came too...she thought she might try fishing with our magnetic pole. Doesn't look like she is catching anything!

Hugs good-bye! At least this didn't turn into a tackle like when Heidi and Andy hug!

Night time with Noggin... This is how they look about 9:00 at night... two peas in a pod!

Memorial Day Parade

Daddy and Papa took us to the Memorial Day parade on Monday morning. It was mighty short, but the kids were still talking about it two days afterwards!

Of course, we got to hear the band. That is always a highlight!

Cousin Josh got to participate since he is a boy scout. He is the one in kahki shorts placing a flower in front of the flag.

More Visiting

Uncle Nick came to visit last weekend. He played with us all day until he got too tired. We are pretty convinced he went home and took a long nap!

We formed our own little rock and roll band. Uncle Nick played guitar, Cole played the antique school bells, and Heidi and Andy took care of the drums. Wow - we made some good noise together!

Heidi shows off her newest hat! What a goofball!

Andy is becoming quite the pain these days. You never know what he is doing or what he is getting into. Mommy suspects it will be a log summer trying to train Andy to be good!

Baseball is Great!

We are in the full swing of baseball. Everynight we are either at the ball park or practicing in the front lawn. Cole really loves playing and is doing really well.... I think he got all of his talent from his Mom - NOT!

It was a bit chilly tonight so we had to bundle up before heading to the park. Perhaps tomorrow will be better! Here Cole is on first base awaiting the next hit!

Heidi and Andy really enjoy not watching Cole play ball. They spend there time eating Aunt Karen's snacks and visiting with friendly animals. Thank goodness games only last an hour!

Sis is super cool and always prepared with her shades at the ball park!

Snack Time

After the ball game, we all needed snacks! What do you suppose she is thinking? I'm not sharing, Cole! Don't even think about it!

I can pack alot in these squirrel cheeks of mine!

Someday, Andy will be tortured with all these "cheesy" smile pictures!

The two boys... they actually look like they could be brothers in this picture. They definitely share the same cheeks and eyes!

Opening Day of Baseball!

This Saturday was "Opening Day of Baseball" for Edgerton's Summer Rec. Cole is playing in the tot league and is absolutely loving it! The kids had participated in a fundraiser selling raffle tickets, and Cole happened to be the second top seller. None of the tickets he sold were a winner - sorry to all who bought tickets! He got a cash prize and got to throw out one of the ceremonial first pitches in front of everyone! Here he is in action.... he did a great job!

Each player also got their name announced so Cole got to run in front of all the big kids.

Here is the champion in action! He got a hit each time he was up to bat. Mommy has already warned him that he is absolutely not allowed to hit off of the t-ball stand so he had better pay attention to his couch when he is pitching! Really, Cole's whole team did great considering it rained the entire 45 minute game! I only took a couple of pictures... I will do better this week... never fear... we play both Tuesday & Thursday!

He runs to first base! If you have never experienced a tot league game you really should come to one of Cole's games. It is very entertaining! Most of the kids just stand around dancing in the outfield. Cole played third base Saturday. He would jump on the base and then take three paces off the base. If he ever had to move to get a ball he would run back to the base and take his three paces again. What a serious goofball!

More Baseball

Cousin Josh plays baseball, too. He is old enough that he is on the wildcat league so he plays by different rules than Cole. He also plays at the fields near our old house so after Cole's games we have to rush to make the end of Josh's games. It is going to be a very long month of June! Here Josh is up to bat... he is really lucky because his Dad gets to pitch to him. He can always blame his Dad if he strikes out!

He made it to first base. I noticed during the game that Josh loves to stretch as far as he can on his "lead off".

Pictures on the Camera

Mommy doesn't always check what is on the camera when she sits down to blog. I find something new almost everytime. This is the latest at the Meyer house. Enjoy all the posts! Goofy number 1....

Geez.... do you have to warp the princess?

Would you want to cross these two?
