Father's Day

We took Daddy to the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo for Father's Day. We got pretty hot and tired by the end of our visit, but it was still fun! They had this large inflatable Lion to check out... he was big!

My little joey...Miss Heidi loves to jump!

The sea lions just didn't want to go for a swim. We checked them out anyways!

Brushing goats is always a highlight! Hold still - we are coming in for an attack!

Library Fun

Heidi and Andy are old enough to attend story hour on Monday evenings at the Library. They are loving it, but it takes both Mommy & Daddy to tackle the situation. Cole gets an hour of Grandpa so he is liking the arrangement, too. The librarian reads a couple of stories to the small group of children then they do an activity with them. These were from the first week! I will post other projects later. Heidi's is on top and Andy's is underneath.

At the Ball Park

Cole's ball will soon be finished. We still have Cousin Josh's games to go to since he made the All-Star Team. Yeh Josh! Cole has really enjoyed having Daddy as a coach, and he has really come a long way this year. He is ready to move up to the next league and to start playing at the other ball park! He insists that T-ball should have an All-Star team so he could play the month of July....can you imagine?

Heidi has become friends with many moms at the ballpark. She doesn't care much about watching anything except when Cole is batting. She then will cheer him on like a cheerleader. Mommy was never a cheerleader so perhaps Heidi will fit that bill....scary!

Andy is getting tired of ball, too. Here is a perfect example!

Cole is hitting most pitches to the outfield these days. He keeps telling us he wants to hit hard like Cousin Josh. What a slugger!

Memorial Day Weekend

We put pajamas on the Meyer Trio and headed to see some amazing fireworks.

We stopped and picked up Papa... even he was excited to see the sky light up. Now, we just have to meet up with Aunt Karen, Uncle Randy, & Josh!

Oh yeh, we picked up G-ma too. We all fit in the new vehicle! We laoded up and headed to Hamilton, IN to Hog Hill. They shot off fireworks for a couple of hours. Words nor pictures cannot even begin to show the beauty of what we saw. A bunch of fire work companies shoot off the best of what they have. We saw and heard fireworks that we had never witnessed before. We lasted an hour until the kids were restless and ready to head home. We know they were shooting them off well past midnight. We decided that this will be a regular stop on Memorial Day weekend. Special thanks to Aunt Diana & Uncle Lou for joining us at the fireworks!

Who is this guy?

The kids find it a real treat to pop the lens out of the sun glasses lately. These particular sun glasses were a gift from a very dear friend who gave them to Cole as a baby. Thus, they have been around for quite a while. I'm sure she is smiling down from heaven at this picture. Although Sue never met the twins, I am sure that Andy would just steal her heart. Daddy refers to this as Andy's Clark Kent look.....bring on the danger!

Ball! Ball! Ball!

Everyone likes to get into the action of playing ball these days. Batter up!

Swing! That is a hit.....Heidi loves to whack the ball off the tee!

Notice the size of that bat....batter up!

Strike one! Notice the child in the outfield who is hitting his head in distress over Andy missing the ball.
