When Sickness Strikes!

Well, the cloud of "Gloom & Doom" sat over our house yesterday. By 7:00 in the evening, Mom had made three trips to CVS in Bryan for prescriptions. Four people in the house had been seen by three different doctors in three different facilities! Sounds impressive, doesn't it? I think we can actually run a Pharmacy out of the house with all the meds we have now. You ask, who is still standing? That person would be Cole who is enjoying life at Grandma & Papa's house. He came home just to get his Leapster and new clothes for tomorrow. He told his Mom and Dad he didn't want to stay with us sick people! Huh! We don't want to stay with each other either!

Anyways, here is the run down for you. At 9:10 the twins visited Bryan Medical Group with Mom & G-ma to get the verdict of ear infections. Off to CVS for some meds. Dad went to the Edgerton Medical Center at 9:50 to be given the diagnoses of Bronchitis. So, Mom went straight back to CVS for his meds then to Walmart for chicken noodle soup, orange juice, & donuts. After having some lunch, everyone settled down for a nap. When Mom awoke she thought her ear felt funny and three hours later she was calling G-ma crying for her to take her to Urgent Care. So, off to Defiance they went. Yep, an ear infection.... I swear I know no other adult who gets ear infections! So, a third trip to CVS was in order and more meds.

Today we are all drugged up and it is getting late and time for bed. I sure hope life improves for the weekend! Maybe the cloud will find some other house to hang over!
