Sometimes, we just turn into crazy people... we headed out for a mini vacation with the kids. We had a really good time, but we were sure happy to see home again! Here are the highlights... enjoy!
We visited a train muesum on our way to the Indiana State Dunes. It was a nice little place that offered train rides on 4 different trains. They were nice long trips through wooded areas. The kids really enjoyed it! They were all steam engines and this is the biggest one that we took a ride on!

A picnic in the train yard. It was truly a beautiful day and the kids just loved having picnics in the park!
